How to Start & Stop Solutions
In the JadeSP service, a list of dialing records to be called is referred to as a solution. Solutions must be created and started in a specific order.
To start a Solution: 1) First start the JadeSP application and Login as a Supervisor.( To learn how, see the "How to Login to JadeSP" help file) Only supervisors can start and stop solutions .
2) Click the Manage Solutions button on the JadeSP control panel to view your list of solutions.
3) . A list of uploaded solutions will appear in the Manage Solutions window with different options to choose from. The name of the solution should match the name of the file you FTP'd to the JadeSP server, including the .mdb file extension. Click on the Start Solution button next to the solution you wish to start in the status column.
4) The solution is now started and will show Loaded in the status column 4) To start another solution, repeat steps 1-4 above. JadeSP will allow you to have multiple solutions loaded simultaneously. To stop aSolution: 1) In the same window , click stop solution button next to the name of the solution that you wish to stop under the status window. Once a solution is stopped a few things will happen: A. Agents cannot join the solution. B. Agents dialing on the solution who are not on calls are immediately logged off the system. They will need to log back in and join a different solution in order to resume dialing. C. Agents dialing on the solution who are on calls will be able to complete their current call. At the completion of that call they will be logged off the system.
2) If agents are unable to join a particular solution, please check the Manage Solutions window and see if the solution is shown as being Loaded, if it is not, follow the steps above to start the solution. Note: All JadeSP servers are rebooted daily. You will have to login in and restart each solution before a agent can join one.
